Really enjoyed the few months in the @Seventeen80Band several years ago which taught me Americana is live and thriving in the UK. I moved onto playing more 80's Pop, Rock and Fusion but shortly parted with the Blackstar ID Core 150 but never the less a great amp.
The atmospheric soundscapes of Vangelis could be explored using the Headrush Prime. The iconic synth textures that defined a generation of electronic music would be recreated using a Drone effect using Air Reverb, 8 Bit Crush and the good old Ibanez Tube Screamer effect. Volume Swells were important also.
For our gigs I was using the Hils HN3 and the Fender Tone Master Pro.
